              <h1>WELCOME TO NALANDA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION</h1>

               		<p style="font-size:14px; float:left; text-align:justify; margin:0 0 15px 0;">The Nalanda College of Education situated near Jhaniari, on the National Highway No Shimla-Dharmsala  at a distance of 05 Kms from Hamirpur bus stand. The College was started from the academic session  2000-2001 by the registered Nalanda Education Society in order to share the commitment of the  Constitution for Universalization of education by imparting B.Ed training to the students of Medical,  Non-Medical, and Arts streams so that the trained teachers can be provided to the schools situated in  tribal, difficult and other area of the state.

<p style="font-size:14px; float:left; text-align:justify; margin:0 0 15px 0;"> College has been granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur vide their  letter no NCTE/F-3/HP/97/2004/2033- 2041 dated 27th Jun 2003 and affiliated to H.P University, Shimla  on the basis of No Objection Certificate granted by the HP Government with intake of one unit of 100  students.The College was functioning in a rented building at Ward No 3, Partap Nagar, Hamirpur from  the academic session 2000-2001 to 2003-2004. The College has been functioning in its own building  from the academic session 2004-05. The present College building has been constructed by its Governing  Nalanda Education Society at a beautiful place which is calm, peaceful and free from pollution with  proper environment required for the functioning of the College. Principal Room, Administrative  accommodation with toilet facilities both for men and women separately in ground floor. Staff Room,  ICT Resource Center, four class room, common room with separate toilet facilities for boys and girls in  the first floor. Health and Physical Resource Center , Art and Craft Resource Center, Psychology Lab,  Language Lab, Curriculum Resource Center and in door games sports room in the second floor. In  addition to this the college has given boundary wall to avoid any out side disturbance. The building is  fully equipped with all the requirement/ infrastructure including required fixture/furniture.</p>
